Children’s Christian Education (Age
3-7th Grade)
Rooms 116, 119, 121, 124, and 127
Sunday
School begins September 12th and is offered from 9:00
a.m. to 10:00 a.m. during the school year. With the Episcopal
Church Curriculum, students will experience stories from the Bible
interactively through crafts and projects as well as age-appropriate
discussions. Our curriculum will also encourage your child to
become familiar with the Book of Common Prayer and Episcopal
liturgy.
All
children’s classes are taught by instructors who have taken the
three-hour Safeguarding God’s Children training.
Confirmation Classes (8th and 9th Grade)
Rooms 208 and 215
This is a two-year program of faith
development providing the students with a foundation upon which to
make their decision about Confirmation. The program begins in the
eighth grade and is held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Please
contact the Christian Education Director to sign your child up for
this program.
High
School Stewardship Program (10th - 12th Grade)
We
invite our teens to become involved on Sunday mornings by serving as
an assistant in one of the younger Sunday School classes. Please
contact the Christian Education Director for more information.
Space is limited, so sign up soon!
Caregiving
Room 109
Caregiving is offered regularly on Sundays from 7:45 a.m. to the
conclusion of the 10:15 service. The Nursery will also be open
during other services and activities on an as needed basis. Our
Nursery is staffed with experienced, attentive adults who know and
care for each child. Childcare in the Nursery during Sunday School
hours (9-10:00 a.m.) will be available to infants through age 2.
Infants through 4 years of age are welcome in the Nursery during the
services. For older children, we recommend the New Light Worship
Service, a family-friendly experience in the Great Hall each Sunday
at 10:15 a.m.
Volunteers always needed! If you
