Stephen Ministry

Christ caring for people through people.”

Stephen Ministry is an extension of the church’s Pastoral Care Ministry.  It is a peer ministry consisting of lay persons trained to provide Christian care to an individual during a time of personal need or crisis.  It is totally anonymous and strictly confidential.  Stephen Ministers provide one-on-one Christian care and emotional support to other members of the congregation who are going through any of the many situations in life that cause us severe stress, anxiety, or emotional pain.  The types of situations include, but are not limited to:

the death of a loved one,

unemployment,

termination of a close relationship (such as separation or divorce),

● individuals with loved ones in harms way (such as the military and emergency responders),

●major life changes, (such as the last child leaving home or retirement),

●individuals diagnosed with a serious illness or facing major surgery,

●individuals with loved ones in these situations,

●and the list goes on and on and on.

If you are interested in meeting with a Stephen Minister, or if you would like to become a Stephen Minister, feel free to contact Fr. Bill or any of the Stephen Ministers listed below.
