Celebration of New Ministry and Institution for Father Mark Brown

On Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m., Good Shepherd Episcopal will joyfully celebrate  Father Mark Brown’s formal installation as our new rector.

The Rt. Rev. Jeff W. Fisher, D.D., Bishop Suffragan of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, will preside and the Rev. Beth Fain will give the sermon.

The Celebration of New Ministry and Institution is a special liturgy drawn from the Book of Common Prayer. It recognizes the beginning of Father Mark’s ministry among us and celebrates the work we will share with him in the life of our beloved Good Shepherd church.

Please make plans to join your Good Shepherd family on April 15. All are welcome to attend – both parishioners and the larger community – as we pray for Father Mark, give thanks for this new season in our parish life, and celebrate the ministry we share in Christ.
