Prayer Vigil April 2 & 3-“Stay here, and keep watch with me.” As is our custom, Good Shepherd will have an all-night Prayer Vigil beginning immediately after the Maundy Thursday service on April 2nd and continuing until noon on Good Friday, April 3, when the Good Friday service begins. We ask for people to commit to coming to the church and praying in the chapel for one hour sometime during that time frame. We try to have at least three people here at all times, at least one of whom is a man. Young people, too, are welcome to come with a parent. This is an excellent way to center yourself in preparation for the events of Good Friday and the subsequent days. The sign-up sheet is outside the Great Hall doors, or you may call the church office or contact Pam Nolting at agnoel@aol.com.
Men of the church...we need security for those who come to pray during the Easter Vigil on Maundy Thursday. There are four, two-hour time slots available. Please help us to insure everyone is safe during the vigil. If you have questions, please contact Roger Horton at 832/412-0997.
